• Rosa Brook

Rosa Brook is a singer, musician and performer from South-East London. Exploring electro-pop, contemporary and operatic vocal styles, she combines percussion, distorted synths, choral harmony and sampling. Her music has many roots such as electronica, dub, trip-hop, funk, folk and post-punk. Her music making started with African drumming at primary school and classical training in singing, violin and drum-kit. With a theatrical background, she explores theatrical and filmic elements with live music. She’s currently performing as a one-woman band and is always looking for collaborators in sound and vision. This year she’s performed her own music, collaborated with artist Conrad Kira and wordsmith James Massiah, composed and performed experimental live music for theatre at Ovalhouse and workshopped at Barbican Pit Lab with theatre maker Yve Blake.

“The London based singer-musician-actor has been making waves in the capital with her mesmerising live show.” (Noise Praise)

“Incredibly beautiful, rootless female voice harmonising into and filling the black spaces around each small sanctuary” (Exeunt Magazine)
